Detroit is a thriving cultural hub with a hotbed of artistic talent that plays host to numerous historical and architectural masterpieces concentrated in family friendly neighborhoods within a walk able distance of Wayne State University. The campus itself is located in the Cultural Center of Detroit and is surrounded by museums, galleries, theatres and other attractions, all within walking distance. We have internationally recognized museums, from the Charles A. Wright African American Museum to the Detroit Institute of Arts.
